My TSR Shavemac LE 2016 M7 D01 3 Band Fan arrived today and I've taken a few pics of it.

It's now going to be stored away until Chistmas Day as it a present to myself in honour of my late father who would have heartily approved of the brush. Smile

The photos really don't do these brushes justice. Over the moon with both the look and feel wonderful. M7 and Rubberset.

Thank you for the kind words guys. Bernd has, once again, produced a really stunning batch of brushes. Smile

I'm loving your brushes as well Avnish. I particularly like the aesthetic produced by the green of the Rubberset handle and the 2-band knot. It's an awesome combination. Smile

Thank you Andy, Bernd has once again created a set of masterpieces. Yours is gorgeous in colour too. You really have to have these in hand to appreciate the handle fully. Many tones of colour.
You can just make out the glittered blue aspects and lighter tones in my M7 but in hand it's amazing. I prefer it to the stock denim.

I like that they are being referred to as M7 and Rubberset.  It recognizes and gives credit to the origin of the handle designs.

The Rubberset and the M7 is outstanding, the material of the M7 is mesmerizing!! Knowing he can do this really opens possibilities! Congrats on great adds!

Those look great!
I am so inquisitive about the D01 3 band knots! I keep reading how the 2 band are borderline uncomfortable to use, but I never see any feedback about the 3 band.

It is, but I heard it's great when completely broken in. I guess I'm just not fond of too much backbone, and mine isn't getting as much use as the other ones.

Shavemac D01 3-bands are, for me, are the best knot Bernd makes. Smile

His standard 2 & 3 band Silvertip knots are great (I'm not a great fan of D01 2-band knots) but a 3-band D01 is a noticeable step up in quality IMHO, with good backbone and very soft tips.

They are, most certainly, one of the best knots in production today. Smile

I have a D01-3band, 26mm knot x 50mm loft - and it's a fantastic brush. It took some breaking in, and I had to adjust my technique a bit. However, it's a joy to use and in constant rotation.

I will add I've also heard many people say they thought Simpson Manchurian is uncomfortable, but I really enjoy it. I know some batches are scritchier than others, so that may be part of it. I suppose the only way to find out for myself is to try.

I have a 2 band Silvertip. I like it, but I think I like a little more backbone and scrub than this one provides. It's set at 48mm loft, but I suppose a wider diameter would bring some backbone to the party.
