Stork razors is the full name and they have a FB page where Vitaly can be contacted.

gmhjr06,
I was actually talking to Vitaly about an 80-85mm long Taipan and EX-combo as my hands are small. He is experimenting with the various lengths right now. So in the future we might see different lengths for the same model. One thing I know though is that their quality is second to none. Now that you mention it, I never thought that the Taipan in brass might be too heavy for an already heavy General head. I have a Taipan with brass inserts like yours in the mail from Russia though and I might just use this one instead.

Nice. Vitalu seems to be a good guy and he is open for recommendations. I love that. I own 2 of his handles now and will definitely buy a couple more as long as they come in longer lengths. I was able to get the most recent one and a while ago, a 100mm in the Consul design I think.

I certainly will when they arrive. This is a picture Vitaly just sent me to see them. They will be posted tomorrow after polishing.

I popped a feather pro guard blade yesterday in the General and got one of the best shaves of my life.

That blade is thicker than the other AC blades but since it is thicker on both sides, the comb- cap tangent moves such there is less blade exposure, but a bit more blade gap.

I could barely feel the blade but it was super efficient.

I am going to try it a few more times to make sure... Maybe other planets happened to be in alignment...

I've been experimenting with Pro Guards for the last week or so. They are sharp and very comfortable, but I find there's some penalty with regard to closeness as compared to Pro Supers, my benchmark blade. I haven't tried the Pro Guards yet in one of the AC shavettes, and that may be where they really shine.

BTW, I made this chart showing specs for Feather AC blades, based on information from this Feather catalogue:

Very nice. It's not easy to find nice brass handles.

So, I have another brass razor called the Karve and decided to use my Cape Cod tarnish metal cloth to shine the cap and handle and in a very short period of time, I got a very nice shine. That being said, I used the same cloth for about 5-10 minutes and then wiped away the excess with a clean t-shirt on my brass General head and it came out looking amazing!! Thanks for the tip! I just ordered these cloths. I plan to use them on both the General and the Karve.

Have similar metal polishing clothes, they work great for this type of cleaning.
