I own a good batch from circa 2014. Awesome longevity & projection.

Bond No.9 Eau de New York

This is in my opinion the best orange blossom/Neroli fragrance ever produced.

It’s a more thick powerfull yet still highly elegant and light scented version of TF Neroli Portofino and Acqua Di Parma Colonia Essenza.

It’s a hidden gem.

It lasts easily 10-12 hours on me, and several days when sprayed on clothing.

My personal rating: 9,5/10

Today I’m wearing a cheapie, but a well made cheapie: Thallium Black.

For the price a very well made spicy dark fragrance with great longevity.
It can tend to show a bit of its synthetic note after a while of wearing it though.

I don’t care much about presentation when it comes to fragrances.
All that matters to me is the juice inside the bottle.

For instance most of my By Killian are 50 ml refills bought at By Killian then placed in a OEM spray bottle.

Once you get past 200-300 fragrances the presentation becomes less and less important. To me at least.

Bond No.9 is actually a brand most frag heads love to hate. The founder is a former Creed employee and they tend to copy a lot of fragrances.
They just do it very well in my opinion.

I certainly agree on SMN Tobacco Toscano, Claus. One of my all time favorite scents.

Thanks for your impressions on No. 9 New York. It's on order.

WoW,

hope my words will not let you down.

Bond No.9 has a lot of haters among the fragrance heads, and perhaps rightfully so, since they make a lot of fragrances, that are Creed clones.
But in my view they just make them very well and they also make a lof of fragrances, that are very well made and with a nice solid lasting power.

I rarely use one of my 19 Bond No.9 fragrances, and then feel I'm let down by the quality of the scent and the longevity of the scent.

Just to name a few:

Great Jones is basically Paco Rabbanne Pour Homme made in an up to date version, which makes it one of the nicest forugere fragrances out there. But it does remind me of the old classic Paco Rabanne PH, which I also own.

Chez Bond is bascially a copy/clone of Creed GIT, but it still has a fresher and different twist, which makes me like it almost as much as the original GIT, which I also own.

Scent of peace for him is a copy/clone of Creed Aventus, but it's a fresher and more bright take on Aventus and I actually enjoy both fragrances equally much.

The Hamptons is a copy/clone of Creed Silver Mountain Water and here I prefer the Creed version, but both versions are great.

New Haarlem is an upgrade of Rochas Men and Jordan Legend, but a worhty upgrade, and one of my all time favourite gourmands.

You also have the very unique scents from Bond. For instance Wall Street, Bleecker Street, Montauk, Silver Factory, New York for all and several others.
Riverside Drive is perhaps my favourite summer time fragrance. I have yet to smell anything like that scent. It's unique and awesome and high quality.
Central Park is one the best strongest green fragrances I have ever sniffed. I love wearing it on a spring day.

But Bond No.9 is a niche house that makes fragrances, that for the most part are not daring and bold like other niche fragrances.
They are easy going and new sniffers will find most of them enjoyable.

I hope you will enjoy your Bond No.9 Eau de New York.

BTW my Top 8 tobacco fragrances are:

1. SMN Tobacco Toacano
2. BY Killian Back to Black, even though some say it's a honey fragrance I get a distinct pipe tobacco note from it and I love it
3. Tom Ford Tobacco Oud
4. Pheadon Tabac Rouge (a slightly less sweet version of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille)
5. Micheal Kors for men (original edition)
6. Mugler Pure Havane
7. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
8. Santa Maria Novella Acqua di Cuba

Thanks so much for the review, Claus. I'll refer to it often when I'm considering another Bond No. 9.
