Polo Double Black today.

Fall has arrived and I'm now focussing a bit less on the very fresh fragrances, yet still not the heavy dense scents either.

What is the full name of that fragrance?
Love tobacco frags. Own quite a bit of them myself, even though I have never smoked....

Creed BdP - A particularly masculine Creed. Wonderful drydown: creamy wood.

Fragrance of the night for me today, 12-14 sprays........it only lasts around 4 hours on me, but what an excellent scent, even though its a niche clone of 4711, and 4711 is a wonderful simple yet fantastic classic:

Love it, own both the EDP and the EDT.
Great tobacco. Prefer it in the winter time.

Only thing I love about winter is wearing my bolder thicker fragrances

Which one you prefer better Edt or Edp Claus.

Have heard of it a lot but never had the chance to try it. Some say it has Sandalwood vibes as well. Is it right?

Sorry, it is a cedar & sandalwood fragrance. Very dry. Very excellent too.

I haven't used mine in a year or two, and accidentally took it for Diptyque Volutes, which is indeed their Tobacco fragrances. I only own one version of Tam Dao.

Sorry about my confusion here.

Full name is "Tabaco Latino", I hope. We can see it on the picture. Producer is Mavive Venezia (on the box) and it's owner of (among other things)  brand "Monotheme". Tabaco Latino is part of their classic collection...

I love tobacco scents too, especially in colder months ...

Today's fragrance is precursor/first launch of Chanel pour Monsieur. Way better than followed versions ... (have current ChpM, ChpM Concentrée and ChpM EdP too, but only use vintage version)[Image: UOMJjK1.jpg]

...diptyque TAM DAO EdP...
Reason I prefer the EdP: sandalwood is more prominent/distinguishable. Frag lasts longer too.

Bath & Bodyworks Mahogany Woods.

A sample from Jags (thanks very much, Jags)

Unfortunately I get a very present bubblegum blood orange note from this from the get go.

And it stays there throughout the life of the fragrance. I still pick up the vanilla, the boozy notes and the woody notes in the background. But unfortunately the bubblegum blood orange note is present in the foreground reminding me of these frags from my collection:
Versace Eros, Paco Rabanne 1 Million, Bentley Azur and Burberry Rhythm.

These fragrances are loud and sweet and while I do use them from time to time, they are not fragrances made to impress me.

So I'm super glad Jags sent me this sample.
Longevity on me is 7-8 hours.

You are welcome Claus. It was a blind buy for me based on the recommendation I got from my friends. At the price point, I liked the scent a tad better than some niche ones.

Let us know your views on Fougere Royale. ...
