Thanks! I was pleased to score a "vintage" 1990s bottle. This fragrance is really under the radar... for those who enjoy Acqua di Parma Colonia, Chanel Pour Monsieur & Armani Eau Pour Homme etc this is very much in the same genre (powdery, soapy citrus.)

I haven't tried the earlier version; I have the current versions in both EdT and EdP.  I much prefer the EdT - greater projection and longevity for me.

Really?! That's surprising, often the opposite way around. On my vintage EdT bottle longevity isn't great, 3-4 hours and it's gone so I was thinking about picking up a bottle of the modern EdP but if you say it's weak I'll have to think again.

Best to sample them and decide for yourself - you may have the opposite impression as me.  Both are readily available in stores for sampling - before the "rona" - not sure what the retail situation is currently like in your neck of the woods.

I had a sample.
First impression: dental laboratory?
Second impression: for kids, while Royal Mayfair is for grown ups?
Nevertheless, this stuff grew on me.
In the end, I bought a bottle and like it a lot.

A little bit cooler days here in Denmark after a hot weekend and last week.
So wearing a bolder thicker fragrance today.

By Killian Pure Oud - my version is from 2013.
Not an oud fan, but this Oud is really more a woody, leathery uplifting fragrance with also an added note of pipe tobacco that is similar to Back to Black without the same sweetness though.

At retail price, this is too costly, but I bought it for 50% off on sale.

Mandarina Duck Pure Black

Nothing special, but somewhat reminds me of my signature scent of the late 90’s Boss Bottled.
