Today Azzaro Acteur

Overall winner: Azzaro Acteur

Azzaro Acteur is the best rose fragrance I have ever smelled.
I'm not a fan of rose in fragrances at all - but I do own 4-5 fragrances, that have a faint rose in there.

Azzaro Acteur actually has a rose, that you smell rather distinctively, but it's so well blended together with the citrus, that it smells so fantastic.
Unfortunately Azzaro Acteur has been discontinued for years.
Why Azzaro can discontinue such a beauty, and then release a number of seriously cra_ppy fragrances in a row is beyound me.

I rate Azzaro Acteur a solid 10/10 - it's the best rose fragrance I have ever smelled, nice projection, longevity about 10-12 hours. A masterpriece.

Tom Ford Noir de Noir is more like a gourmand fragrance, not as well blended as Azzaro Acteur, but it's stil very nice - but not my favourite rose fragrance.
I rate Tom Ford Noir de Noir an 8/10.

I had a bottle of Actuer a couple years ago, and unfortunately for me, it must have "turned', or refilled with something else, as it had an alcohol blast that was quite noticeable, and no rose to my nose.  I need to try this again for sure.

Demeter Almond. It has a pronounced toasted almond scent, not the sweet almond of the C&E cream or the RazoRock R-160 balm I used today. I like the sweeter products a bit more.
