If anything I believe the blu has a more unique and complex scent, and it's probably just in my head but in my opinion the blu also performs better than the Verde

I agree. I also like the Verde, but it has more of an Axe scent to me.

Leave the lid off for a few days to a week. It sounds like it's just water-logged. This should help dry it out.

can  leave it in the sun to dry out or will that ruin it? I don't want to lose the fragrance

No need to leave it in the sun, although I'm sure that would work as well, just leave the lid off for a few days. Also, don't worry, you won't lose the scent.

I think it depends on the specific soap. I have had SV Stella Alpina airing out for months (like 3 months) and I still catch strong whiffs when I walk by.
It would take decades to fully get rid of a scent, in many cases.

Sorry I wasn't referring to it getting water-logged, just talking about scent retention/loss.

I read that the left over lather doubles as an aftershave, anyone here use it like that and how well does it work? I always buy matching aftershave and that's what stopped me from buying Nuavia but if this methods works as well as an aftershave balm I may have to buy some!

I did this for awhile and it worked quite well.  Ultimately though it felt weird rubbing soap into my face after shaving, and I quit and went back to an aftershave.

The Nuavia soaps are quite moisturizing, doubt if you would need an aftershave, especially in the warmer months.

I just got the Blu and the Verde in the mail yesterday. Tried the Blu today and the performance is unbelievable!
So far I have only sniffed the Verde but I think the smell is going to be a total winner.

Im not digging this soap as much as i thought….performance is good but i hate how mushy it gets even though i just drizzle a couple of drops of water on it. Have to
leave it to dry in the sun and then stick it in the fridge.

I would recommend you stop drizzle water on the puck before lathering.  I only do this with my really hard soaps that are difficult to load, and Nuavia isn't one of those.

I actually scoop out the soap needed and mush it in my bowl and lather it that way, I love how soft the soap is so I can do this.

Just want to send a little love towards Nuavia verde. I've been getting great lather, dense and sticky-slick. A very pleasant surprise.
