New OLIVA soap and the return of SELECT Sandalwood from CRSW!

Cold River Soap Works is pleased to introduce Summer Rose in our OLIVA vegan shaving soap and the return of our popular Sandalwood SELECT v.2 tallow based shaving soap. There is also a matching Sandalwood Post Shave Lotion available as well.

Probably my all time favorite Sandalwood. I remember finishing the wood bowl and it being out of stock! Great news.

Larry, we were hiking up Mt. Brandon on the north side of the Dingle Peninsula (Ireland) yesterday and one spot reminded me of the Cold River in the Adirondacks. I wondered if that's where your name originated? I hiked it back in 2014 for a few days. Great remote area in the north country.

A bit off topic, but do you plan to offer any of your soaps in that nifty ceramic bowl again?

You are correct, the Cold River in the Adirondacks is the inspiration for naming the company. One of my favorite places and I spent much of my summers in the area as youth exploring the Northville Placid Trail. We still get up there for at least a long weekend each summer.

Ahh, Thought so. Wonderful hike with fresh air and beauty. Perfect name!
