I've been very happy with my ATT Atlas H1, but sometimes I crave a slightly thicker/heavier handle (the 3" length is just fine). UFO and Triad came up as possible alternatives, but at the moment both are unobtanium. Has anyone else gone through this exercise with an ATT head? Thoughts, recommendations?

I like the smaller handle on my M2, but have also used a Weber Bulldog on it with success.

I like both the Atlas and Kronos handles, but I also wish there were some more readily available, larger diameter handles available. Options for stainless steel and aluminum in the 15-18 mm range would be nice.

Agreed, I have two Triads that are 13mm x approx 80mm, that little extra thickness makes a difference!  Sorry, no help on where to get though.

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about their handles.

They also offer the MR3 at 15.5mm.

Anyone have feedback on the knurling on the Maggards handles? I've often found the cheap import stainless handles to have knurling that isn't all that grippy.

I have one of their wave designs (MR5) - the knurled sections are deep and plenty grippy.  Looks like the same machining on both handles

Thanks for the recommendations. I ordered an MR3 until I can get a long-term, higher quality handle.

That's a beauty! Unfortunately it's sold out, but I bookmarked & will check back. Great size for the atlas, just shy of 15mm.

I have an MR3.  It's a great handle at any price.  Loads of grip, good weight, and a nice, matte finish.  I was going to mention the Jurgen Hemple handles too.  They are available at a handful of retailers.
