I couldn't resist the Grosvenor 2-band Ebony beauties, and my Pearlescent Simfix was getting a bit lonely being the sole Simfix of my group, but that shall no longer be the case!

Congrats on your brush!
I picked one up just recently and am impressed by its performance.
I wasn't so sure with the 22mm knot, but it's a great performer with quality 2-band silvertip.  The ergos on the handle are also fantastic.

I agree.

Have been enjoying mine a lot. I'm thrilled with it as a matter of fact. The depth the handle color is subtle but very nice.

The knot also had little funk at all. Much nicer than my Manchurian that took forever to get to a point where I could use it. The silvertip in this Simfix was fine after a single test lather. Pleasant surprise.

What is the advertised loft height on the 2 band Silvertip SimFix you got? I missed the release of them but they look phenomenal and would try one if the loft allows for enough bend to my liking. I hope you like your new brush and if it doesn't suit you, feel free to PM me.

Your post is timely as I got a pearl SimFix earlier this year and I really do love it! Just today, I received a manchurian Grosvenor. It measures 22.4mm x 54.6mm and it seems like it will be something I like. The Grosvenor is a bit bigger in both dimensions as well as denser. The tips are curly and soft when wet. Can't wait to paint some nice lather on with this brush.

Cheers and happy shaves gentlemen!  Smile
