I used my Mystic Water Lime shave stick tonight that I haven't used in 2 or 3 months. Well it was hard as a rock. It almost ruined my shave because I didn't expect it to be like that I don't think I applied enough product. Once I realized what had happen it turned out okay. Has anyone else had a Mystic Water stick get really hard on them?

That is the first time I have heard of any of Michelle's soaps turning as solid as a rock.
I have quite a few older pucks, 4-5 years and they have hardened, but nothing similar to a triple-milled soap.

Have you contacted Michelle about this?
Good luck.

No I have not contacted her about it because I think the next time I use it if I dip it in water for a few seconds first it should work okay. I will see.

Dip it in warm water before applying and all should be good.

I've never seen one of Michelle's soaps harden at all, and I keep a couple in open/lidless containers. Sounds like an anomaly to me.

None of my 4 year old soaps from Michelle have hardened very much.

Mine being in stick form, when I put it to my face I can really tell it is very hard.

Are you referring to the stick being similar in consistency to a triple-milled soap? I can't imagine this being the case with Michelle's soaps as I have never seen any of her soaps with this consistency even after 4-5 years.

Any soap will become harder with time as water evaporates from it.  It may be just the top layer that is exposed to the air that has hardened.  If dipping it in water doesn't help, and you're unhappy with the performance, please contact me and we'll take care of it.

This is the only stick I own that has ever done this. I find it to be a nuisance.

Michelle offered to replace my stick but I told her not to bother. It's not a big deal for me to dip it into some water for a few seconds. It just surprised me when I first put it to my face.
Still good stuff.
