How many shave's do you get using the Muhle R41

G'day Nookies,

How many shave's do you get using the Muhle R41 with these blades showing below, or any DE blades that you used with you're R41 v2013 head because I like to know if they can last up to 3 shave at least.

I'm a head shaver and have easily gone three shaves with pol silvers & GSB's in my '13 R41 AND ATT H2.
It would really depend on hair type, how long between shaves and what you feel is good blade performance. I personally shave every other day, head and face, use my blades twice and pitch them.

I used to have an R41 but no longer do.  However, regardless of which DE razor or blade I use, I only use a blade once.

I never had issues getting 3 shaves out of any Gillette or feather blades in my r41. 2nd and 3rd shaves were often better than the first...

I use Kai and Crystals for 2 shaves worth in tge 2011.

I've shaved almost excluively with SI/Polsilvers using opencomb,safety,slant and adjustable razors. Any blade will give it's best performance first shave AFTER the first pass which is honing the blade as much as cutting. Polsilvers have never failed to deliver a minimum of five, four pass shaves worthy of being seen in polite company for me. Naturally, for a big date a fresh blade is a given.

I get 3 shaves with GSB's.  I've pushed it for more shaves but the comfort of each shave rapidly drops off after 3 shaves.

I've gotten 7 from Kai's.

I've stopped using the R41, but when I was using it, I used to get 1 shave out of the wilkinson or the voskhod. I switched to the feathers and polsilver and now I'm on the 3rd shave, but with the Gillette fat boy. I dare not use the R41 with the feather, because as I read the feather is a thin blade and on the R41 it flexes so it will draw blood. I was also see blood with the Voskhod with the R41.
