I bought a collection of razors a few years ago and this was in there. Shiny chrome OC razor that has a hollow handles to hold blades or used blades. On the bottom is says, "MEB Patent A Made in Austria."
Looks like an old razor, but I don't know how old or who made it.
Has anyone seen a razor like this before?![[Image: jObCiR2.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/jObCiR2.jpg)

Google gives a few hits; a hit in Google Books (Waits' Safety Razor Compendium), and a hit at a Collectors Encyclopaedia. There was a thread over at B&B about six years ago, but no clues there either.

Could it be one of the things this fellow imported into the US?

Thanks for the clues to add to the mystery. The Collector's Encyclopedia had a picture of the same razor, but no info to go with it. I emailed the site to ask for more info.
Bob--You may have discovered the identify of MEB. I wish I could confirm, but nothing online that I can find. Hopefully someone else comes along who has seen one or knows more about it.
