Does anyone collect vintage blades?  I bought a collection of razors a few years back and it had all kinds of cool vintage blades in the package.  Mostly DE but some SE too.  Names like Glyde, Wink, Speedway, Singer along with Gillette, Treet, Pal, Barbasol, and more.

I know that some guys use certain vintage blades, but not usually stuff this old.  Does anyone on this forum collect vintage razor blades?
Here are a few of the boxes of various blades.

I manage to pick up quite a few too, but not purposely. I regard it as an interesting and sometimes useful by-catch. There are some real enthusiasts out there though. Below is a link to but one wrapper collection website:

I don't collect but use and exclusively use vintage blades. They are, the good ones, head and shoulders above current models, and there is a good reason for that.

What does Mouser mean by 'use and exclusively use vintage blades? ' Does he use only vintage blades?

I would try to shave with Gillette Thin blades.

I mean they are all I use. Quite a few different ones but they're all I use.

I thought I'd explain my comment about there being good reason for vintage blades being better. Back in the day blades cost more, relatively, than they do now because they were made for a market that could afford and demanded better blades. America and Europe  made up the biggest share of the market.  Today , by far the largest share of the market for razor blades is the third world. Cost has to be kept way down so quality is sacrificed.
