Sigh.  I wish Weber would start making heads again. 

No razor is perfect for everyone, but they seemed to get it just so...slightly more aggressive than the Muhle/Merkur 3 piece heads, but not over the top aggressive - pity. 

This seems a very reasonable price for one of these now.   Someone pick this up before AD takes over and I wind up buying it. 

Anyone know if all the polished heads had the black 'undercarriage' like this one?

I don't think the undercarriage is actually "black," per se. I think it's a trick of light how it shows up on camera. My PH has a darker, rougher finish, but it isn't coated with anything. I think under similar lighting conditions, it would look "black" like this one, but in reality, it's much more of a dark silver/grey.

Chamm is correct, I had a PH and the underside is dark, but not black. It's just unpolished which gives it a very cool industrial look, if you're in to that kind of thing. Great deal on this one!
