I have heard good things about a number of blemished products. Never have bought anything like that so tried a blemished Weber Bulldog handle. It arrived today and darned if I can find any blemish! Maybe if I really stretch my imagination I can see in the ⅜" band near the bottom that is not knurled, a tiny area slightly darker than the surrounding stainless in that band. But boy, you really have to want to find something.

Blems are sold without return privileges, so it's a bit of a crap shoot, but I doubt Weber would let any really bad ones out the door. Got a reputation to protect, don't you know? Good buy and I'm happy!

I always thought blemishes were cosmetic only and not related to any flaws in function.

No one wants to watch me shave. So, bring on the discounted blemished products!

I wouldn't complain about a little 'character' in my gear as long as it operates within spec.

I have a blem Weber Wave handle. Same as you, I'm hard pressed to find a defect. It looks essentially as perfectly finished as my iKon Bulldog which was bought as first quality.
