So I didn't make the Wolfman list in time! So should I get a blackbird or timeless or oneblade? I use a 34hd att s2 if I shave back to back each day if I wait a day or more I use ATT H1, 13 R41,ikon tech. I don't mind spending the money for something nice. I like a heavy razor and stainless steel would be nice too! Thanks in advance for the help.

You could wait until next month, when he will be opening the list again.

Skip the OneBlade IMHO. It's as expensive as the others for the razor itself, but manyfold more expensive when you factor in those blades. Moreover, I did not find it superior to my Wolfman DE or a simple $10 Schick injector for that matter.

In fact, if the ease and convenience of the OneBlade appeal to you, look into a Schick L-type injector. About 1/20 the price and just as good IMO.

You want to dance with the redwolf, dance with the redwolf. Go up to the bandleader, slip him a note and wait for Por Una Cabeza. Why waltz with the friends of the public garden herbal society vice president Mrs Goldfarb. Didn't you just  sit through her lecture and taste test of exotic garlics?

I recently received a Blackbird and it shaves superbly.  While I give the aesthetic advantage to the Wolfman, the Blackbird shaves very close to it.  And you don't have to get on a list, then wait.  Life is too short.........

You can't really compare DE to SE IM(ns)HO. From my experience if there is something you want then getting anything else will not satisfy you. Just wait for the list to open again and try the other razors if you like, but they won't scratch that Wolfman itch.

No experience with the timeless, oneblade was not for me, have several wolfmans that I really love but would be very happy to use the Blackbird as a daily razor. It shaves extremely close and comfortable without any irritation and considering that you use a H1 and R41 this might be a razor you'll love.

Timeless or the Blackbird. The Blackbird gets all kind of great reviews as does the Timeless. I have the Timeless OC and it is a magnificent razor. If you would consider SE the ATT SE1 is available. Uses the Feather Artist Club blade and is very nice. Have all the Wolfman razors as well and while great are not superior to the Timeless.

Now you've done it! I also have all of the wolfmans and the blackbird, now I want a Timeless!  Wink

Only thing is I'm not into OC (only have one, a wolfman, all others have come and gone). Almost all of the reviews are about the OC and not much on the SB version  Sad

The Blackbird is a good choice.  You can also keep an eye on BST and grabs a Pils.  It is a nice, heavy stainless razor that gives an excellent shave.

If you like the shave you get from an ATT H1 I recommend the Blackbird. The Wolfman is mild compared to the H1 so you aren't missing much if you prefer more blade feel. The Blackbird is more aggressive than the Wolfman and also shaves at a steep angle which I have heard is how some shave with the R41.

+100%

The entire experience of acquiring, learning how to use, and enjoying a Blackbird was for me so much more rewarding than that of the Wolfman.

I can also notice hardly any difference in the quality of shave these two razors provide.

Is the PILS aggressive? I kinda of like a more aggressive razor. ATT H1,ikon tech,R41 (splitfire) top cap. The R41 can be hard to get a long with with the splitfire top. I thank cause it's plastic. If it was some kind of metal I thank it could be nice.

Polished BB is awesome, but machined and in black oxide are also great!

Blackbird all the way!  I love the looks of the Black Oxide, but any flavor of Blackbird will satisfy the RAD for at lest a little while...
