Just received this from everybody's favorite (or most hated) auction site.
It was listed as a Buy it now or best offer. Gave a best offer which was accepted.
It is big and beautiful, a little over 6 inches, but unusable due to shedding. It is the new "queen of the cabinet".
Will give it a new knot one day.
The L7 and D3 pictured for size comparison.

I have one that looks exactly the same in shape, but no sticker in the front, and printing on the back. No stickers on either side for mine. Not sure why mine has a round looking shape where a sticker was. I don't think Rooney ever did a round sticker. Congrats on your newest addition!

The brush next to mine is a Shavemac Pre-2005 D01 33mm, so it's a monster in it's own right, but still clearly outdone!

They do look like long lost twins. To the best of my knowledge, Rooney never used a round sticker on their brushes, but they did make private label brushes. The Penhaligon's brush is a private label made by Rooney. It still has there best badger sticker on the opposite side. It is a match to the Beehive sticker.

Find the retail store or chemist with that size sticker and you will find your brushes lineage.

But that is IMHO. Thanks for sharing. Love seeing jumbo Butterscotch

Wow. That is truly a unique brush handle shape. Butterscotch is a great vintage color.

Pretty handle, but I can't visualize how it could be very comfortable to use, at least with the two grips that I use to hold a brush.
