Check out my new Wolfman guys. The head is the modified to the .74mm gap. Im not used to the aggressiveness yet (only 2 shaves). Im going to give it a few weeks but might have to trade or send it to James for the standard gap, but we shall see. It does shave great though and i love the weight to it. The head design is amazing because with the gap and exposure and everything, if this was another razor i would be all cut up, but the
Wolfman is a smooth shaver.

Ayone have any experience with the different blade gaps? Is there a very noticable difference,  enough to be worth trading or sending it back?
I will give it some time for sure because it is anvawesome razor.

I shimmed a regular head and did not find it very different. Not like, say an att m vs r vs h.
Is it SS?
Enjoy.

I see your problem - you're linking to pictures you've uploaded to another forum - one which requires you to be logged in to see the pictures. So for those of us who ain't logged in over there, they do not show up.

I would recommend putting your pics on Imgur; there is a handy button on the toolbar when you post Smile

I can only speak for myself but I don't find that much difference between the standard and .74, not aggressive at all in my book.

with the .74mm blade gap, angle is key. this is what i've learned in my experience and it's a great shaver for when i want that extra oomph.

I used a .74 gap OC this morning and didn't need any special angle to make it work.  It was very intuitive.  If you had a harsh shave I suggest you switch to a different blade and see if that helps.  Also make sure you're not using too much pressure.

Yeah i really like the handle. It has great grip and thats why i went with this one. Its nice and heavy too. Just to see, i put the head on a tech handle and it was a no go for me, i like the weight of the wrh1. I liked the wrh2 but figured i could get a superspeed.

What I do not understand is why anyone would question the original design of an admittedly well designed razor and start screwing around with blade gaps. Is everyone an engineer? or is just because you can and he is willing to do it?
