To put them up against other slants like the ATT S1 or S2?  I've seen a couple of glowing reports and a couple of just ok comments, but not enough to approach a consensus.

Wish I could answer. I was wondering the same. Not sure when the next batch are due to be released, but probably pretty soon. I'm hoping to hear more at that point.

I used the Wunderbar exclusively for 2 1/2 weeks. I happened to see their offering that morning on Twitter. I could never get comfortable with it. Too much blade, finicky, and a harsher shave than I expected. Prefer their Stealths to be honest. It was hyped so I was disappointed.

ATT S2 is great but I am pretty surprised how much I'm loving the Ikon X3. Amazing shaver.

+1

It's beautiful but it's too harsh like the Fine slant for me.

Joe at IB doesn't know for sure, but hopes for early August.

I still have not found a better slant razor than the ATT S1 and S2. Please let me know if anything out there gives a smoother shave in a slant. I am looking forward to the Blackbird slant when it comes out next year but for now, I don't think the Wunderbar is a close competitor. It is a beautiful piece of work but the minute I started hearing people talk about the harshness, I was done.

I'm afraid that harshness would be a put off for me, too. Probably worth spending the extra to get Stan's S1 and/or S2, instead. I'd like to hear more on the harshness issue with the Wunderbar.

I had the S2 and didn't find it smooth at all. I would totally give the S1 a shot though as many seem to have positive things to say about it. I had just about every version of the RR Stealth Slants and only preferred the V1. But these days, slants don't seem to have much appeal to me. Not sure why. I guess I used them as daily shavers and now my preference is to shave every few days.

Had the wunderbar, sold it. It was excellent in terms of quality build. Performance was fine, but I wouldn't put it above the X3 which I'd cheaper and readily available. If I had to choose, I'd take the RRSS V1 over the WB any day of the week

Here we go again with an overly hyped razor that does not meet demand. "Joe thinks maybe August"...really. Should anyone be surprised? How is it that Ikon thinks enough about its customers to get enough product out there at the very beginning ....at introduction?

I have the Wunderbar, is the only slant I have and ever owned, sorry too say I don't have the ATT slants to compare. Since I do like aggressive razors the Wunderbar is definitely keeper for me, probably the best shaver in my den with Rockwell 6s coming in 2nd place.
