The Feather is the one with the black baseplate and the partially black wood handle.

Probably the Weber, but I am sure I would not pay current asking prices for either.

Both give good shaves.

I imagine I'll be in the minority here but I'd go with the Feather.  I gifted my Weber DLC, sold my PH, and plan on keeping my AS-D2.  Webers are good shavers though I don't think you'd be disappointed if you're able to track one down for a reasonable price.

The Weber and AS-D2 are great razors. I own a Wolfman also which gives nice enough shaves but at least the Weber & Feather have zero drama.

Weber...it's the finest shaving head I've ever used.

Weber without question for me. They are the most consistent shavers I've ever experienced.

Well, I went ahead and overpaid for a brand new Weber polished Arc on EBay. I think the same buyer had posted it here as a trade option. Looking forward to getting it in hand!!

Its a great razor!  You will enjoy.  I'm a fan of the Merkur 34C and I found the Weber to be a better version of the 34C; medium-aggressive but won't bite if your angle is slightly off or your technique is a little "groggy."  I never should have sold mine, but then again I always though that Weber would keep making them (and I always thought that Rooney would keep making brushes in Finest!).

Weber made ARC, DLC, and polished stainless. Is the razor ARC coated, or stainless?

To my knowledge the DLC and the ARC are coated stainless

I bought the polished SS. I have seen the DLC but what does the ARC coating look like? What's the difference? I've only seen the black DLC and the polished SS. Color me stupid but I thought all of the razors are called Weber ARC.

I doubt if anyone would polish an ARC (advanced razor coating)...the razor is probably just the polished model which was stainless like all of them....I have all 3.

I have all three Webers, the ARC is my favorite but I see the Polished head outlasting them all.

The ARC is more of a matte finish (silver), definitely different than the uncoated, polished stainless version. Honestly, I don't think I can tell much of a difference (if any) between the way the three versions shave. Maybe a little smoother glide with the coated versions. But they all shave wonderfully for me.
