Santa Maria Novella Acqua Di Rose. ROSEWATER.

http://buy.smnovella.com/index.php/acqua...50-ml.html

I picked up a bottle yesterday. Looking for a new summer scent, since I've tired of lime.

No alcohol.

Much more expensive than the rosewater they sell at the health food store, but the company has such a good name, I figured there might be something better about it.

Anyway, I love it. Tomorrow, I think I'll mix a bit of witch hazel with it in my hand before applying. And, I was thinking I might use it on my brush when I make the lather. I used Meissner Pots of Milk unscented soap. Might be nice to use with a rose shaving soap.

Anyone else ever tried rosewater as an aftershave? How did you like it?

Rosewater s very light and mild on the skin. I would mix it with with like you said, witch hazel and maybe some glycerin as well.

Harris Pink is a low alcohol rose AS. Rosewater is naturally astringent. Bulgaria is the world leading producer and highly regarded. A fun pairing is a
bar of Pre de Provence bath soap in rose with exfoliating petals.

Rose water has been used as a toiletry/first aid/healing potion since the 8th century.

SMN is top notch and you have a winner in your den.
