Here are my British Flare Tips and Rockets, well the collection is almost complete. Only missing the British Gillette TV. All in great condition, apart from the Flare Tip.

This seems to be tarnished badly, Any advice on getting this razor gleaming again, would be much appreciated.

Nice. They look pretty good actually.

I wish I can give you a tip about polishing these razors but I don't even try to polish mine to much, I am afraid I might make it worst. I just clean them as best as  I could whenever I'm done using them.

Awesome collection.
If you want them clean as apposed to restored, I would do Maas with a tooth brush followed by a jewel ultrasound cleaner, with warm water and dish soap.
If you want them restored to perfection then there are some vedors out there that seem to do a very good job. Enjoy!

Preidy,

I've now added the Gold and TV Rocket to my collection. That make's it 5 different flare Tip Rockets. Am I missing a trick, what would be the sixth, (blue, flare, red,TV,Gold)?

Blue Tips are a very mild, but smooth shavers. Paired with a sharper blade you can get a reasonable shave. The problem is, that it probably gives a decent shave. But when you have used many combinations of blade and razor, you are always looking for the next perfect shave. It may well work well for you with the right combination.

Thanks for the info. Maybe stick with my regular SS Flair; Enjoying the shave with those.
