For those of you with Nuavia, do you use the excess cream at the end of the shave as a balm?  Do you just use whatever is left on your brush and rub it in and let it dry?  Do you do anything else?

I use the excess lather at the end as a balm for five minutes and then rinse. But, I don't do that only with the Nuavias. I do it with every soap and cream I use. It really helps the skin, in my opinion.

Thanks for your comment Nick. I will try using the left over lather until it is absorbed. Then see what the skin can feel like after 5 min and a rinse. CRSW seems to absorb into the skin fairly easily.

I just lathered up a bit and let it absorb in.  I didn't rinse.  Feels pretty good so far.

I use a little of the excess and don't rinse it off and I also don't use any other products after. Nuavia is the only soap I do that with and it works surprisingly well Biggrin

I've never even thought of not rinsing it off, it seems like it wouldn't really absorb and just dry as a layer on the skin.  I must say though that even just allowing it to sit on the skin for a few minutes while I clean up then washing it off it works beautifully with no need for post shave products.  This is most definitely not a property of only Nuavia, I use this same method with almost every soap with some of the best being: Mike's Natural and Mystic Waters.

Same thing here!
Normally I would take the excess lather and paint my face with it using my hands, clean my gear then rinse it off... Similar to what Merkurman does.
With Nuavia I just take a little bit of what's left and use it as a balm. Works very well.

It's soap, soap needs to be rinsed off IMHO.

Nuavia and other great soaps gives me THE BEST POST SHAVE FEEL anyway, so no need to do anymore than just shaving with it IMHO

Why use a shaving soaps lather residue as post shave balm, when so many After Shave balms works so splendid ?
I don't want soap residue on my face, no thank you

But I'm OCD, so do what ever suits you best, and forget about me

I don't rinse it off. It absorbs into my skin and I don't feel the need to.
