I am so excited! Over a year ago I was part of a passaround that included an LC, and I thought they shaved great, but never pulled the trigger on one. I have a Muhle in rosegold and since it was a gift from my wife I felt like if I wasn't using it I might upset her.

But an LC popped up for $20 shipped BIN on the auction site of "E"s and I did in fact buy-it-now. It helps that I am selling some of my software off, so why not reinvest in the hobby? What else was I going to do with that Jackson?

Have you used it yet? I've been wanting to try one, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I bought a 12 razor lot on one of the auction sites -- got both a short and long tooth version of the Gillette NEW. Mine are a bit tarnished, and some of the plating is wearing thin, but they both shave like champs! I typically use them on a heavier handle than the stock Gillette handle. I don't know what Gillette used to "gild" these razors, but if you get one you really love, they re-plate beautifully.

Or . . . just enjoy them for the aging beauty queens they are.
