Good Day Gents,

Sold off a few items over the last few weeks and directed the funds towards a NOS Tanifuji Maxfli Gold, it's my first Japanese straight, the edge is very shave ready like a HHT 4/5

Congratulations William, one of the best Japanese makers Tanifuji Fukutaro even though the razor is NOS I'm of the opinion that it's benifical to give the razor a little freshening up only take it back 12K then 20K can make all the difference IMO, a fine shaver used mine on Sunday delivered a fantasic smooth shave.

It's easy to get hooked on Japanese straights. I've really enjoyed my Maxfligold, and I'm sure you will too. Congratulations.

Very nice looking razor! I love japanese straights. I own a couple Tanifuji's myself! Your razor looks spectacular.

Jamie,

I have purchased from the seller of this one before and his edges are very nice so I am thinking I will give it whirl with the edge it has and if lacking I may take it to the Narutaki Asagi on a super light tomo slurry for 20-25 passes.

Beautiful straight. I like the scales quite a bit. I'd shave with it...too nice not to.

Very nice. I don't know much about the Japanese brands but sounds like I should be looking into it
