Happy to say that the RR Baby Smooth is one of my small stable of razors.  The design works very well for me, especially going ATG and shaving the neck.

One thing I've found is that because of the unique geometry, you feel the top cap against the skin when shaving at the proper angle more than with other razors.  This isn't a big deal, but the black finish (anodized?) on the aluminum has never felt very smooth/slick against my skin.  It almost feels "grabby" if that makes sense.  While it doesn't seem to affect the comfort of the shave, it does reduce the pleasurable glide that I feel with a chrome or stainless steel razor.

I was wondering if other RRBS owners have felt this, and what they've done about it.

Two options jump out at me:  One, remove the coating to bare aluminum.  Two, have Delta Echo coat the razor in Gunkote.
