Did I need a new brush? NO! But after looking at John’s Brushes, I was impressed, and besides I wanted a green brush. So…………I ordered this green silvertip from John: 22mmx48mm. My first shave using it was excellent. It is soft with enough backbone to handle anything. FYI-John includes a full puck of Jeeves Soap with each brush (which I used as my final rationalization).

Striking handle! I like greens a whole lot!

John who? I'm new enough to the upscale brush market that I don't know all the vendors, yet.

His name is John Michaud from Georgia. He markets his brushes on Etsy: Johns Brushes

https://www.etsy.com/shop/Johnsbrushes

They are very reasonably priced too. I am using it again tomorrow.

There is another brushmaker, Matthew Marting. Known as Brushguy. His brushes are also lovely, and you can also get the Virginia Sheng Silvertip knot used in John' s brushes. Really hard to beat either one of these two gentlemen for a really great quality Silvertip brush, in a hand turned handle, at a great price.
Brushguy brush.
