Just curious about preferences re: scents.  I know... we're all different and YMMV  Smile    Still curious about people's favorites.   So, my three favorites:

1) Old Spice classic scent - Shulton variety - only made in India now as far as I know.
2) Chocolate Bourbon by PAA
3) Simpson's Vanilla Rose

P.S. - I'm also curious about which of the Peach scented soaps people prefer, and if there are other Chocolate scented shave soaps/creams... I saw "Death by Chocolate" by Van Yulay and am curious if anyone has tried that.

If I may slightly 'extend' the selection to 4:

Maggard's Limes and Bergamot
LpL Rose de Pushkar
MdC fougere
Czech and Speake Oxford and Cambridge

As far as fragrances go, I could live with these 4 from now on.

I'm also very fond of the lighter, simpler SdM fragrances, not to mention the performance.

Cheers, Steve

This is tough and changes for me. As of today here are mine:

Mike's Lavandin & Eucalyptus
Nuavia Blu
B&M 42

I have not tried Peach scented soaps so cant comment there. I have used and liked Stirling Cocoa Forest - a dark chocolate and pine scented soap. It's been discontinued and I gave the soap to my brother to thin out my den.

It's nearly impossible to name three, and it's something that changes regularly.

1. Czech & Speake No. 88: I like oud, and the rose oud in No. 88 is fantastic, and you can't beat the performance of Vilobra soaps.

2. Tabula Rasa: Steam Punk

3. Penhalogon's: Sartorial

Mitchells Wool Fat: It is not a 'soap smell'- I use the word instead of scent because the current emphasis is not unlike the idiotic Apache scarves circa 60-70s.
It is restrained, yet reassuring that in a uncertain world 'The Fat' stands unchanged and unmoved by novelty.

Brutalt Bra Norwegian Wood: It reminds me of the wild places needing better stewardship, starting with my own soul.

Pre de Provence: The french know perfume. This one is a morning market trip buying a baquet, wine, cheese and flowers for my girl when I take her to Paris.

I'll go with categories as scents: citrus, barbershop, and misc. If I have to pick three specific implementations:

Mike's orange, CedarWood, and black pepper - CRSW barbershop - Catie's Bubbles Spanish holiday.

You might want to try B&M Lavanille if you favour the vanilla/chocolate type scents

I myself love the C&S Oxford and Cambridge as my favorite followed by NUAVIA blu. I also enjoy simpler citrus scents like p&b citra royale or Latha Limon

Smell is probably our least respected sense until the S***hits the fan. I may pontificate about the current emphasis on scent over performance, but it is just as
important. What everyone likes, and what people around us respond to is a marvelous interplay with the world. Still my most cherished anecdote shaving involves
TOBS 74; often describe as 'old lady handbag smell' by unwashed youth. I bought a bottle from Phil on a whim, splashed it on and went to my local british import shop. An elderly lady thought I was her late husband; Officer in the R.N. on HMS Rodney who participated in the destruction of Bismark. 74 is a close approximation of the scent english barbers used at the naval bases. Again, I forget the name. She was frail, herself not long for the world and it was one of those magic moments when one's humanity rises above the gutter of daily ignobility to each other in traffic or the checkout line. We can please ourselves easilly enough. Once in a while we get to extend that pleasure.
