Hey guys, I don't know if posting prices from non-affiliated vendors is allowed, so I'll ask. In looking around the internet at various shaving suppliers, I happened on a listing for the Simpson Chubby 3 Super Badger at $249.95. That's quite a bit less than any other price I've seen for the brush. The Vendor in question seems quite legitimate, but before I listed their name or a link to the item, I'd like a mod to let me know if this is approved behavior. I have absolutely no connection with the vendor.

I see it on Amazon for $259.95, can't go wrong with Amazon. If it's a dud their return policy is iron-clad.

How are these prices available with the MAP pricing I heard about a few years back?

If the seller doesn't have a contractual obligation to his supplier, I don't think MAP is enforceable. I'm no lawyer, but without a contract, MAP would seem to fall under the realm of "restraint of trade".

I think (but someone like Phil would have to confirm) that MAP is part of a wholesaler contract. If the vendor the @OP found is buying them through other means, it probably isn't enforceable.
