I just received my new replacement tube of Speick cream and was quite surprised when I opened the tube to see the cream is white now, not that shade of pink it's always been. Has anyone else experienced this? Is that the only difference? Because if so, I don't mind at all. And I'm not sure if I'm influenced by the shock of the color change but I'm not sure if the scent is the same. Can anyone else weigh in on this?

The cream is same salmon colour. There is a Speick soap in a tube that is white. It also comes in tub/pot and is called Speick Active.
Both performs GREAT !

There are two Speick creams, the Men and the Active. The latter cream is white colored and has a totally different scent, it's citrusy. I don't know if the classic one changed color or anything else.

Edit: I just saw your answer, Claus.

A reformulation maybe? That doesn't sound good to me. Did they change the ingredients list? If you have already tried the one you received today, it would be good to let us know if you detect any differences between this and the previous tubes.

Wow, not good news for me. Speick is a stable in my rotation, and I use it as my go to travel cream.

Certainly hope they didn't mess it up in the new formulation.

On the other hand, it's not a disaster - so many great soaps and creams out there.

But bang for buck, Speick cream might just be the best performing cream out there.

Well, if I had taken the time to look over the box before I panicked like a little girl I would've seen, written in white letters to stand out, "100% free from colours...." the ingredient list is the same as ever other than that as far as I can see. Too bad though, I did like the coloring of it. But as long as it performs the same.

I hope they haven't changed the color of the shave sticks, which I normally grate into a bowl. Speik just wouldn't be the same without their distinctive color.

I just got a new tube, and the color is white, and not the usual salmon color. Hope the performance is the same

This is quite disturbing - Speick has rised to be one of my favourite cheapie shavign creams, and I hope the performance is the same steallar as the older one.

You are sure, you bought this one:

Not this one:

Just opened my first ever tube of Spieck Rasiercreme. I would describe the color as pearlescent white. I have nothing older to compare it against, but I enjoyed it immensely.

I guess now is a good time to point out that Shaving.ie has Speick cream tubes on sale right now...

This is the one I got as well. Been using since I began wet shaving 6 years ago. I just stopped buying as I have way too many products.
Performance on the old cream was top notch

I have a new tube of the colorless cream that I've used about 8 times.
No difference in performance to me from the salmon colored type I had.

That change in production had been made quite a while ago (second half of 2014, actually). The cream no longer contains the azo compound Ci 15985. It's really just a difference in colour. Everything else is the same as before.
