Nuavia Verde from The Handlebar Supply and a Pre-Order of Hallows all in the same week? I've been away for awhile, distracted by a flare up in my watch collecting again, but these two orders were a nice way to catch upSmile

Congrats!

Don't know about Hallows, but Nuavia is getting harder to resist.

It's been ugly. I went from a Seiko Sumo, that I was completely content with but managed to break, to an Omega Seamaster Pro Ceramic. Sold that and wound up with an old friend, the Seiko Marinemaster 300. Added on a Steinhart OVM & Seiko SARX033.

Now the real problem, going to an AD to see the Rolex 116610 LV next week BUT I really want a 2009-2011 14060M. I have a sickness lately.

But man do I love those Marinemasters!

I, too, bought and flipped a ceramic Seamaster. Go with the Rolex and never look back, I say...

I'd also take a serious look at Tudor. They offer exceptional value, I think.

Ha, we think alike. I'm waiting on the updated Black Bay with the in house movement w/70 hour reserve. Thinking the blue bezel version.

I don't know, I think my ETA model will be quite the collector's item one day...

Rob, congrats on the Nuavia.  Been thinking that could be a xmas present to myself now that my AD is slowing down.

Have to say I agree with you wholeheartedly on the 14060M.  I am not really a watch guy but I have a 116710, and while it is a stunning watch, I think the "horns" (lugs?) on the case are too thick and chunky and prefer the classic lines of the earlier models.  Also, I don't think the sports Rolexes, especially the sub, should have polished links in the bracelet.  Too blingy.  The watch just feels flashy to me, which is why I wear my TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500M with a rubber strap as my daily.  My dad was a pilot and has worn an 80's vintage Coke bezel 16710 his entire life.  The brushed metal looks great regardless of how worn it gets.

Not a fan of the new look of Hollows. It's too a bit too much for me.

I'm just looking around for an old unused puck of the last one.

The container 2 years ago was much better looking last years was to over the top and this years is even worse. 2 years ago had a nice simple skull and was pleasing to look at. However I did not agree with the scent so I don't worry about how the label looks =p

Totally agree on the newer lugs. They are fine as their own watch, but that's what it is, a new separate watch.

I like the symmetry of a no-date dial and really like the lack of a cyclops. Sub ND do it for me.

Wow, Nuavia is definitely not hype. What a shave!!!

As for the Hallows label, I saw it and immediately thought, "what the hell is that." Beggars can't be choosers though and since I could actually get a jar this year I wasn't going to let a label stop me. Smile

I haven't even thought of using another soap since Verde arrived.  That is absolutely crazy for me.  Might just be the game changer I was always looking for.

I'm pretty sure the aesthetics of the soap lid would not compromise the quality of the soap Wink

Yeah, I'm not thinking about it. Seems to have been pretty controversial on Reddit and other forums. What 'Eva, I just want to finally try it after all these years!
