Made my first razor handle with the help of a machinist student at son's college.
SS razor handle and two Goliath espresso tampers.

Very nice!  I am taking a machining class this winter for the fun of it and had a razor handle on my list.

Enjoy!

I sit in front of a computer all day so I enjoy working with my hands on the weekends.

Took welding last winter.

Yes, used all of it. The handle has a nice warm feel to it and is surprisingly balanced for it's longer length. When I'm able to have lathe access again I would like to make one in brass for my other razors.

The heavier espresso tampers make for easy tamping. Little to no weight needed for my classic lever machines.

I'm impressed with you all that create your own products.  I just get to sit back and wait for you to start selling these things so I can spend money on them.  The handle looks great.

Good news - please post the brass when you get around to making it.
