For anyone who has an SE razor that uses the artist club type blade and feels it is too aggressive for them, may I suggest you try a KAI Mild Guard blade. These are the mildest blades by far. If you want to tame your SE razor try these blades.

Just checked the stash-in-waiting. I have one sample ready for a Colonial Razors General SE Batch 2 when they ship. Thanks for the prompt.

They'll fit the ATT SE1 and Phil's upcoming Rx, right?

Yes to both. I use them in my ATT SE1 and they're extremely smooth.

Thanks, will order. Having become used to the AS-D2, even the Kai Captain Titan Mild in the SE1 are a bit aggressive for the now 'wussy' me!  Blush

You put one of these blades in the ATT SE1 and it will be as mild as your AS-D2.

I apologize for the misinformation. I guess I wasn't paying attention and thought these were the regular Kai Mild blades - I haven't used these.

No harm, no foul. I was planning on ordering them, anyway. @Shave/Brush says they'll make the ATT SE1 as mild as the AS-D2. If so, that will be great as the extra real estate covered by the AC width blades is useful.

I find the ATT SE1 to be a mild razor in general. I never used one in the ATT but I used it in my AlumiGoose V1 which is considered to be a very aggressive razor and I found it to be very smooth and mild with this blade.

These are even milder than the regular Kai Mild blades. I think anyone who tries these blades would agree.

with these wider blades I want to do 5 passes to not feel cheated in time served doing the shave.  I could do a pass in about 3 seconds if I wanted with a Kai Mild.  bloodfree too!

All of the artist club type blades are very efficient. IMO they are much smoother than any other blade. A fresh new Feather blade in the OneBlade razor might be a little smoother but they only last for one or two shaves before they dull out. These Feather and KAI blades are good for many more shaves.
