Sorry if its already posted but saw a post on another forum saying Shave Revolution was closing. Everything is currently on clearance. Use code "Thankyou" for 40% off.

Went ahead and picked me up some soaps and splashes!

I am terribly disappointed. Justin is a fantastic gentleman and really had some wonderful products that he helped design and brought to his shop. I would recommend people use the code and grab some stuff.

Sad

I've had this gnawing feeling that supply is outstripping demand. The marketplace is adjusting and there will probably be more.

Gent was not making any money and realized it's not worth it. Market is totally saturated.

He's probably breathing a sigh of relief.

Exactly. The excitement we feel about the "hobby" is significantly more than the actual demand.

Market saturation is only one factor. If you love a product buy a few instead of supersized fast food culinary experiences, bought by a VENDOR you love.
Do not find some EBAY seller with a 92.8 percent feedback from Ripoffnia or Lord Bezos. Find a product still listed by a vendor as discontinued ie Dittmars
on Bullgoose. Now look on EBAY and see what it would cost to buy direct from Germany. THAT, is what the future foretells. Buyer saturation is also a factor.
It doesn't demand that much; a handfull of blades, a puck can keep these folks above water until somebody repairs this boken pipe economy instead of selling buckets.

Yes. Once they get everything processed and take stock they will open the site back up. They got hit pretty hard all at once.

Good that they managed clear a huge chunk of their stock I guess. Get it all out and save on future cost.

Sad to see this. Justin was the first retailer to carry our shave stuff, and he gave us a lot of great advice. I think we make better products today because of his guidance.

I'm not sure if it's "market saturation" or not. As I said when a few prominent artisan soap makers called it quits, having and growing a small business can be difficult, and I think sometimes people figure out that they could do better putting time and effort into other things. Other things could be their "real" job, family... Lots of things.. I don't have any insider info here, though.
