I guess Brexit has severely devalued the British pound. Biggrin

Lovely razor, by the way.

It looks like it was never used.  Did you clean it or did it come like that?

The pound may be devalued, but when the UK wants to make something nice they really make something nice.

I'd say it is worth nearly 5 times that, with the case and the condition it's in.

Only last month saw a Cased 'British Red Tip Superspeed' sell for £145.

Biggrin Biggrin

Kam, would you mind telling us where you found such a gem?  I have purused Antique shops all over town and have only found one DE and a couple of Straights.  I am having a difficult time finding vintage razors in such condition without paying too much on eBay.

Garage sales with the qualifier of estate sale translate to the passing of an older generation who used safety razors. You may have to ask, casually in passing.

I haven't ventured down that path yet.  I guess I never would have thought of coming out and asking the person if they had razors for sale.

Congrats, sweet find! I find the red tip a bit on the mild side already, I couldn't imagine how milder the blue tips can get.
