It is one of the most beautifully 'clean' scents that I have tried. Musk and citrus, along with olive, but I also seem to get a lovely powdery scent. Shy
I only have a sample of the balm, so this might not truly reflect what the soap smells like, but I doubt it differs, significantly.
Of course, YMMV.

What great service I received from Paulo. I placed an order last week that got misplaced. I received the order confirmation but no shipping info. I assumed it was likely out of stock but there turned out to be an order mixup and it was never sent. When he discovered what had happened, Paulo sent it out overnight and included an extra soap and balm. Totally unnecessary but very much appreciated. What a nice guy and a great vendor

I love to hear such story from vendors, makes me want to buy more soaps from them. I have a Sapone di Paolo on the way, if I like it I won't hesitate to get more.

I just got Arancione. The scent is a little weak, but I love it. Sweet orange as advertised. I'll definitely get the balm.

I have been using Albera & Arancione soap and cream for about a month and have enjoyed them so much I placed an order for Bosco & Terroso which arrived this week.  After the first whiff I was looking forward to shaving with the Terroso as the scent is amazing.

Mid way through the Terroso shave I noticed a mild burning sensation that intensified with each pass.  Having sensitive skin this is nothing new so I figured the Terroso balm would calm my skin down and the mild burning sensation would be something I could live with.........WRONG!  The balm absolutely lit my face up.

I am sure it is not any of the ingredients as I don't have any issue at all with any of the other SdP products, but there is something in the Terroso fragrance profile that my skin doesn't agree with and is more prevalent in the more intensely scented balm.

This is just a heads up to the rest of the sensitive skin crowd.  These are GREAT soaps & balms and I plan on selling or trading the Terroso and replacing it with another SdP product.

I have Bosco, Albera, Cremoso, Terroso, Agrume & Pulito and would rank them in roughly that order as far as scent strength. They are all outstanding and Celestino was spot on about Pulito, light & clean, just a beautifully scented soap.

Reviving an old thread here.

Just tried Sapone for the first time this morning. On loan to me. It's the Terroso. What an incredible soap! Smells fantastic and lathers like a champ!

I was just thinking of stocking up on a CRSW Jardine d' Orange but this morning's experience has got me re-thinking. Can anyone comment on the Arancione scent?

Arrancione is truly the smell of a freshly cut orange. Jardine D'Orange is the smell of an orange grove. That said - protection is much better via CRSW. SdP balms are top notch though! Mike's orange, CedarWood, and black pepper is another wonderful orange scent (and again, a better performer).

Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated. I have both the CRSW (older version) and the Mike's. Summer is coming to Australia so that's why I have an eye on a citrus based scent. The first impressions of Sapone soap are great.

Not sure I 'd agree that CRSW is superior. I find them to both be top-notch soap makers.

I really love Paulo's soaps but every single one since the reformulation has caused a burning sensation when I use them. Some burn quite a bit such as Terrosa and Alberra. Pulito has a very slight burning and at this point I don't even want to try the tub of Arancione that I have. I have three soaps in the older base that give me no issues whatsoever so I guess I may have to sell the V.2 soaps and just stick with V.1.
