I have this Ever-Ready 1914 in excellent condition. I love this razor but lately it seems GEM blades irritate my neck. I paid $48.00 for it and that is what I want to sell it for. I will pay shipping.
I don’t use PayPal so if you want to buy this, send me a PM with your name and address and I will send you my name and address. I ask that you get a Postal Money Order and send it to me. As soon as you tell me you sent the M.O. I will send out the razor.
Sold. This thread is over. Item sold.

Forgive my ignorance, but I am just becoming familiar with Ever Ready's. I see where they take GEM blades. Are these the same blades you would use in a OneBlade?  If so, do they work as is, or do you have to despine them for this razor as well?  Is the GEM the only blade you can use in it?

Again, I'm learning.

I am not sure what blade a Oneblade uses, but this will use a Gem PTFE blade, Treet blades, Gem SS blades, etc. You do not have to modify at all.

This is not the blade that the Mongoose and Cobra use. Feather, Kai etc

Yes gem blade  only, no spline blade like the one blade although the  one blade can accept modified Gem blades.

@OP

How does the 1914 fairs in aggressiveness vs the MMOC or the 1912 Senior head not the 1912 junior head, the 1912 junior head I dislike since its even milder than the MMBT.

For those not familiar with the 1914, it is more aggressive than a 1912 but about the same as a 1924 and MMOC.

These blades can be used in the OneBlade if you de-spine them.
