Well in the thread listed below I discussed how I gave my Chiropractor and upgrade on his shaving items.

http://shavenook.com/thread-the-chiropra...iropractor

I have not been able to see him for about five weeks since his schedule and my schedule did not match. He has two other Chiropractors working for him in his practice so I saw one two weeks ago. Now this time, I was able to catch him at the right time. I asked the question about the brush. Here is his reaction.

Wow! All that time I was living in the dark ages! That synthetic is magnificent. It is like lathering with reindeer pelts (he has actually felt reindeer pelts). He stated how well the brush fit in his hand and how easy it was to generate lather and to move around the face. He went on with a statement about it lathering so thick and so rich that it was totally the opposite of my old brush. He went on to say that he simply threw that cow, wildebeest, or whatever it was (for the record it was a boar) into the trash.

Then he got to the soap. He stated that the VDH soap that I got at Wal-Mart for $2 was fantastic. He stated that unlike the currently made Williams that he was using, the VDH actually produced a moisturizing lather that was thick and protective, and not like a film of soapy water.

All in all, he is ecstatic about his upgrade.

A bump to this thread.

I visited my Chiropractor today for some follow up work.

He made mention that the brush I gave him has adjusted just slightly over time (as a synthetic will do) and is now in the sweet spot. He loves this brush and was amazed at how much that improved his shaves.

Another satisfied shaver!

My chiro has been a traditional shaver for years, but his hardware got a little lean after his divorce. He had been using locally procured products and unfortunately he got a hold of a bad boar brush and some current Williams soap. When he got this brush, and some VDH, he realized there was a big difference! Biggrin
