If I knew then what I know now, I would have put the Shelby in storage.  It was a fun car to own back in the day.
Johnny, the thought of having a 65 GT350 as my first car gives me goosebumps.  My first car was a 66 stripper coupe with the straight 6.  Not even a "real" Mustang with that engine but still plenty of fun.

Audi RS5
I own this car for some three years now. A 4wd, perfect for two (maybe three persons) with skiing equipment and luggage. It's 500l trunk will even allow a few boxes of wine when travelling home.
Sweet v8 engine with enough power for most occasions, outstanding ceramic brakes (more important than acceleration...).
A great gran tourismo.
Seen here at Lago di Livigno, heading passo di stelvio and Merano this autumn.

Gorgeous Car!  And that is the perfect environment for it.   Wink

I'm a surfer and paddler and needed a car that could balance my love of performance with the ability to haul gear, so I got a GTI.

It combines a lot of great Audi tech (turbo, DSG) at a bargain price with an incredibly space efficient chassis.  I love it.  I almost got the R because AWD is awesome but I live in Southern California so don't really need it most of the time.

Cheers,

Alex

That looks like a good road course for a Mini Cooper S or a FIAT Abarth.

Those would certainly be happier there than the two black Lamborghinis I spotted at Stelvio this year, moving very cautiously, but with impressive noises Smile

I tried to talk my wife in to getting one of these but she ain't giving up her Element.  Nothing like driving a shoebox around town.
