I'm not familiar with any of his writings except "Shoeless Joe" aka Fieldof Dreams. What else did he wrote?

He wrote two other baseball-themed books, "The Iowa Baseball Confederacy" and "The Thrill of the Grass," and many other non-baseball-related books and stories. Phil Alden Robinson wrote the screenplay for "Field of Dreams," and I'm not sure how much of "Shoeless Joe" is in it, but think the opening 10 minutes of the film is one of the best intros to a movie I've ever seen and like to think Kinsella's vibe was maybe responsible.
