So I have a 100 pack of Personnas that look legit when you look at the box and the exterior wrappers. The interior wrappers though do not completely cover the blade. The previous ones completely covered the blade. I'll have to post some pics later when I'm home. Anyone else have this issue? The only reason I bring it up is because I had an abnormally rough shave with one of the blades the other day. Thanks

Where did you purchase these?  Also, which Personnas are these?

Pics for sure.
I just bought the 200 pack of Israeli Personnas (reds) but the description said blues. However they look just like the IP's I purchased off of maggards.
I shaved with them and they seem fine. I was still a bit skeptical though.

EJ-Man: When I think of Personna Lab Blues, I think "bargain brand."  Is there really enough money there to cover the cost of counterfeiting such an inexpensive blade?  I thought the Personna Virginia facility recently changed hands and may be about to, or already has, changed hands again.  That may be the cause of packaging or QC issues.
kberga69: What I call IP Reds in the USA are packaged in blue in the UK, and I think West Coast Shaving offers them here in the blue packaging, as well.

[Image: personna-lab-blue-double-edge-blades-100...00&bh=1000] looks similar to this box, a buddy of mine sent them to me because he didn't like them, not sure where he got them. Forgot to shoot pics but will do so tonight.

Gents, request your opinion about the below posted pics of Personna blades.

Whenever I shave with them, I get razor burn, nicks all over and it gets dud after 1-2 shaves.

The printing on the blade makes me suspicious if these are legit.

P.S. These are Super Medical Prep Blades

The white wrappers currently do leave corners of the blades exposed. So I wouldn't say they are fake but honestly, I was never a fan of Personna Blues. Sharp and rough to my skin.

Just in response to your point about counterfeiting blades that aren't very expensive...a friend of mine just bough a 100 pack of Derby Premium blades (not up there for high end or expensive lol).
Now his first shave was horrific and on pistons a pic of the blade the printing was diabolical. We compared with various other users and they were consistently the same apart from his.
He was sent blades from other members and got on great with them.
So it seems there is no limit to what they will counterfeit these days although it beggars belief that there's enough money to make it worth while with these kind of blades. One would wonder if it's just sheer volume that will make the profit!?!
