Planning on a small run of iKon machined heads, which would generate more interest?

Our S3S head:

Or the dual sided flippable baseplate SBS:

Would you do the SBS in stainless or brass? The SBS is a more efficient razor for me.

Looking at a hybrid run of stainless top caps and aluminum base plates for either design.

Either one would be great.  I had an S3S that I regret selling.

Having never owned either, would it be to early to ask what the general price range will be?

I'd be very interest in those, but I like the brass best rather traditional.

I had one also regret selling it, I would be interested in getting one. I remember It was very mild and had to use feather blades. I had the S3S, Ive never seen the other one?

S3S has my vote.
Hybrid SS top cap and aluminium base plate sounds good.
Any chance of not dual personality? I understand its an iKon hallmark of sorts, but surely I'm not alone in preferring a complete SB or OC on both sides?

Fair point and we are often asked this but these are run in such limited numbers creating the dual head keeps it unique and technically very difficult to make, leaning towards this design with a few slight tweaks:

SBS is flippable baseplate.

Is this the only difference between it and the S3S?

Sorry I don't know the details that makes them unique as I was never able to try one.

The flippable baseplate gets my vote.

Stainless steel and aluminum sounds excellent! Brilliant actually. I just got a Pils and the balance feels all wonky to me with the all stainless head and spindly handle.

Understood, this does offer the most variety for consumers.

I see SBS would offer a mild and more aggressive shave by flipping the base. I vote for the SBS. I had the S3S and thought was too mild.

Will be one of the noted design changes.
