We all have tried too many of them. Which are your must-have razors and why? Which razors are considered nowadays must-have? It's not about the price or the scarcity of a razor, it could be an EJ or a Tech.

Personally, after having tried literally dozens of razors, the following will never leave my den. They are part of my rotation and collection.

Modern razors
  • Edwin Jagger DE89, smooth daily shaver with an excellent finish at an affordable price
  • OneBlade, luxury product that shaves amazingly good
  • Alumigoose, aluminum made razor on the aggressive side
Vintage razors
  • Schick Injector, for a quick smooth shave
  • Gillette Aristocrat, classy razor of the past
  • Gillette NEW, super effective shaving tool
  • Gillette Tech, a razor with its own history
  • Gillette Slim Adjustable, an affordable adjustable razor that shaves great
  • Ever Ready 1912, unique design and an excellent shaver
All are highly recommended razors and must-have.

Personally, My Mergress is  must have. My one desire for vintage is a Darwin solely on the design and material.

Nick, I agree with most of yours actually...you hit some excellent ones. For me I will also add:

Modern-

BBS-1: I just can't find a DE that provides me with as perfect combination of smoothness along with efficiency as this one. It's as close to perfect as I have experienced.

Pils: Different design, slightly smoother than the BBS-1, yet slightly less efficient. If the head was a little lighter this one might actually be my top modern must-have.

Weber DLC: The standard by which I compare others. Smooth, efficient, and just feels "right" everytime I use it.

Timeless Razor: This one is tentative as I have only been using it less than 2 months. However, I found myself reaching for it quite often and the shave it delivers is flawless and phenomenonal.

Cobra classic: The SE that ignited my interest in SEs.

Vintage-

Gillette Fat Boy: Perhaps overhyped sometimes, but still one of the best adjustable razors I have ever used.

Ever-Ready 1914: Hands down my go-to SE. When my skin tolerates SEs, this one delivers some of the smoothest and best shaves of my life.

Gillette old type: incredibly smooth razor that always surprises me (in a good way) when I pick it up. Definitely underrated in my den but I never want to be without it.

DE: Feather AS-D2

SE: GEM Micromatic bullet tip

Injector: just starting out with these and I have a few on the way that I will be experimenting with over the next few months, but so far I'm enjoying the bright yellow NOS lady Schick

Where to draw the line? This is a tough question. I'm erring toward the minimal:

Vintage: MMOC, Schick E2 injector

Modern: Muhle R41 2011, Ikon Shavecraft Tech

If I expanded my list, I would include the British 1912 SE, 1914 Little Lather Catcher, 1924 Shovelhead, Wolfman open comb with the blade gap increased to .74mm and ATT H2.
