I find some pretty weird stuff when I trawl the web at times:
I can understand why you might want to shave a corpse - if you're doing an open casket funeral, that is - and a razor cut would be most unflattering. So a niche product for a niche marked, but quite possible a forerunner for todays depilatory cream?

That is exceptionally strange.  I guess even Funeral Homes need their shaving products.

Sadly, post mortem the skin recedes showing a beard.  So all of our efforts are ultimately in vain save for Norwegian Viking  or Tibetan sky burials.

Old stuff. We used a Bic and hot water. We could get 10 men done with one razor. On a good day we could slip in a couple of women with hairy upper lips on the same Bic

There is probably less chance of giving the corpse a nick with modern disposable than it was with a straight edge...

I want all of the vintage funeral home razors!

Some of us may have corpse razors and not know it.

I won't need a shave.  They are going to cook me like a crispy critter.

Not only wont you get a shave. You wont get a bath. Furthermore you will get fried with your last bowel movement in your hospital pajamas

I need a drink. I'm to young to be this old and worry about any more esoteric life end morbidity on top of climate change, the election, if my lotto ticket will finally pay out and where to take lily this weekend.

I'm having a drink while reading this thread. We're scheduled for the same disposition, Johnny, but I'm insisting on a dredge including buttermilk in the finest Southern tradition. That said, this thread is certainly a monotony buster. I love it!

Never did a dredge. But I have put raw egg on a corpse face more than once. ( Lammm, M: The Jewish way in Death and Mourning.  https://www.amazon.com/Jewish-Way-Death-...d+mourning
