Wait a minute, you say! Torolf doesn't offer Shell Cordovan.. And you'd be right ... Except in this case.

Earlier this year, I requested this of my friend Torolf, and he agreed to make it happen! 2 1/2' inch Black Horween Shell Cordovan with Natural Linen. Barbers ends with natural leather trim .. the longest piece he could get out of the shell.
Torolf's craftsmanship is second to none, and to say I'm over the moon would be an understatement!

There was also something else in the box that will be discussed further after some testing. Until then, feast your eyes on an incredible strop!

Beautiful. Leather looks incredibly smooth and a very high quality linen. If I was blade I would love to get a hug from that strop. Enjoy.

Your strop must have a great light draw!

Yes, it does! I favor a light draw, and i know from experience that the Horween Shell Cordovan is near perfection for me. Not quite as light as my Kanayama #3, the Horween as a slight draw, but perfect for me!

If you like a light draw, I find Horween Shell Cordovan to be superb.  I had a Horween Shell Cordovan strop made by Walking Horse Strops, which is no longer producing strops.  However, the workmanship was nowhere near as fine as yours.

My Kanayama 70000 is pretty smooth and I currently have 4 strops including an oil tanned from Torolf but your most recent strop is tempting me.
