Curious what new soaps (released or reformulated in the last 6 months or so) that are on your short list to try or you've recently tried and love.

Primarily looking for new artisans, but if there's a new scent from one of our established soap makers that you are loving feel free to mention.  Also, if you purchased that matching balm/splash and love it, let's here about it!

I recently purchased a couple of SdP's reformulated soaps (Bosco & Albera), and find both the scents and performance on these outsanding!

My short list to try are Tallow & Steel (probably Dark & Rainforest), and Viking Soaps (not sure about scents yet).

Totally agree on the SdP. I own Albera and the Bosco is in the mail. Believe it or not, I have not tried CRSW.   The Olivia is probably on my short list to try.

L&L Grooming Bison Tallow formula. SO GOOD!!! I've only used the 'Champs De Lavande' collaboration with Chatillon Lux, but I have a sample here of Cuir Et Epices that I plan on using in the next few days, smells nice out of the sample thingy, I'll probably order one when I place my order for 'The Shave Market Fougere' (again collaboration with Chatillon Lux) soap. They also just released a orange and wood type scent that is probably in the neighborhood of Terre De Hermes if you're into that sort of thing =)

I'm also looking to try some Tallow and Steele. The biggest discovery I've made is Nuavia, I need to get a Blu and a Verde, already have the Rossa and that stuff is magical =)

Manuels new tallow is all over my radar.

My shipping is always slow from Spain so I count the days til it arrives.

Another big Thumbsup  for SdP.  I have been using the Albera (Blue Spruce) and the Arrancione (Orange) for the last few weeks and the performance and fragrance is a winner on all levels for me. So now I either want to try additional SdP scents(Bosco and Terroso), or take a shot at a Tallow & Steel product (Grog or Rainforest)

SdP @ 3.50 an ounce
Tallow and Steel @ 6.50 an ounce

I might just load up on SdP : )

Wow! Thanks for the heads up you guys. But my SSAD has experienced an intervention, and I still need to try Mike's Natural & CRSW (on my Christmas list).

Paolo's SdP V2 is amazing as well. The performance & scents are wonderful especially the Spruce. Pricing is a bonus!

I think Tallow & Steel is worth every penny. It's not a soft artisan soap and will last longer. Probably in the top 1-3 soaps I've ever used.

I'm looking over my shoulder. The recent demise of I Coloniali and Polsivers discontinuance was another wake up call that no product is permanent. I have always wanted to try Czech and Speake and am saving my nickles. Old can be new too.

With all I have on hand already, the only way I could not feel guilty about new purchases would be samples.
In good conscience, I can't go for full tubs/pucks. I don't have the space either.

I gave away a lovely Tabula Rasa unused in a charity auction some months ago.

CRSW remains attractive to me, as do Mike's and Dr. Jon's.

I am thoroughly enjoying all of Paolo's new soaps, but after that I'm fairly soaped out. I can't imagine any truly new scents or formulations that will knock my socks off. I will probably try Manuel's tallow, but after that I think I'll back off for awhile. It used to be that I could try many of the new soaps, but there are now so many, I could never keep up with them.

I had Phoenix & Beau on my radar, then succumbed when ordering something else from Connaught; it added less than a dollar to shipping and their price is better than our US vendors.

I haven't even used it yet! Probably not for another week, since I participate in "Soap a week"
