Muhle R41 2013 is one of my favorite razors.

I don't like either, but if I had to choose one, then it would be the Fatip. Shy

I agree!

I had both and sold them. There are better razors out there, in my opinion.

Definitely the R41--at least I can use that razor and get excellent shaves out of it.  The Fatip was just horrible for me Confused

The Fatip has my vote. It is much smoother  than the Muhle, for me anyway. Although Fatip does have quality control issues, if you get a good one it is great razor made of brass not pot metal. I love the way it looks in gold.

Joris version of the Fatip. Very aggressive, very efficient. I've used this with Kai blades. I'm a big fan.

The Fatip Piccolo is one of the best aggressive shavers. Like many, I want my razor to efficiently take off hair but I want it to do so comfortably. When you step into the territory of the Ikon Tech and Muhle R41, every blade tugs in these razors. Even a single pass with the grain (WTG) is uncomfortable using these razors, let alone if you go for a second or third pass. The Fatip Piccolo is a touch less aggressive than the Muhle R41, but it is buttery smooth. You don't feel raw blade against your skin like you do with some of the more aggressive razors, and just about every blade I've tried shaves well in the Fatip.

I vote for Fatip Piccolo versus Muhle R41 2013 but, definitely, both razor are excellent.

Never used a fatip, but I do get really good shaves from my 2013 r41.

Yes.

If my Fatip had perfect blade alignment, then it would probably win.  Since it doesn't, then I would say it's too close to call.  I tend to like the Fatip better on my head, and the 2013 R41 better on my face.

The Fatip by far. It's an aggressive razor but one of the smoothest I have ever used. The R41 always tugged at my beard.

I like my Fatip, I must admit I have an R41 which I have not used yet, its still sitting in its box for the past few months.  I got the vintage bug and I have been busy with that end.

I voted Fatip.

Thank you very much ...

It's a dead even tie. Both a part of my regular rotation of four. The other two are a wunderbar and the new WCS 77B black open comb.
