Does anyone have any pictures of a 2 band bulb shaped Simpson Silvertip knot soaked in warm water or a picture of it's "bloom"?

I haven't read of any hooked tips on these brushes. Any help gentlemen?

I've had a two Simpson two bands with hooked tips (an M7 and a Chubby 1) all others, and I've owned about 10 others if my memory serves me correctly, have had tips that were simply straight without any curling.

My Grosvenor, if that counts, is two band silvertip and has some curled tips.
I have to find a picture.

It's from June of this year. Not a bulb strictly. More a hybrid. Lovely brush.

I haven't tried any of the two band bulb Simpsons and I was just curious if I was more likely to have an experience with one that has treated hooked tips or one that is like Nathan said, no curly ends and just softer "untreated" or "more gently treated".

I am not a brush expert in general and definitely not an expert when it comes to Simpson SilverTip brushes! However I've owned 3 of them and now only have two. From what it looks like to me, this hair is not treated. Looks natural but I could be wrong.
As far as curled tips, I'll confirm when I get home but I believe they are somewhat curled

That is helpful. Thanks a lot! Yeah, let me know if you get a chance once you look at home.

I have some from 2012-2013 and they are definitely hooked tips. I also have one from a few months ago that does not seem to exhibit this quality. So I think it will depend on when the brush was manufactured.

Zack,
I was wrong, I had 4 of them and sold one so now I have 3. First pic is of the recent release of the Simfix Grosvenor, second pic is T3 labeled HAND MADE, and last pic is a D3 labeled MADE IN ENGLAND (only one from 2011-2014 era).
To me it looks like all of them have curled tips. The recent Simfix has the least curled tips but that could be due to the fact that it's hasn't been used enough yet. Interesting enough the D3 and T3 are definitely softer than the Simfix! Hope this helps
