My first completely synthetic progression in a loooong time, on the new EIKO razor..

Professionals 3K to 5k, SuperStones 8K to 12K and finishing up with 10 laps on the Gokumyo 20K. Wicked sharp, sliced and floated hairs pre stropping! I hope it shaves smoothly though ...

Beautiful razor. Congratulations. I find it to be very sharp, and it holds an edge well. I get smooth shaves off my 20k, while others would take it to a JNat for smoothness.

Thank you, Richard ...

And yes, I will have to see if I can tolerate the 20K edge .. I've had trouble with finishing on synthetics before, but I've heard that the 20K is a different animal. We'll see!

Jamie's photos of his fantastic razors have cost me more money than I hate to admit to (especially to my wife).
